Product Usage

Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) serves primarily as a raw material for the production of polyurethane resins. Its applications span a wide range of sectors, including coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers; low- and high-density semi-rigid foams; rigid foams; viscoelastic (memory) slabstock foam; structural reaction injection molding (RIM) materials; and flexible molded foams and slabstock.

TDI is a key raw material for the production of flexible polyurethane foam, widely used in automotive seating, furniture cushioning, mattress cushioning, and specialty foam applications. It also serves as a reactive intermediate in the production of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and prepolymers.
