Polyamide (PA)—commonly known as nylon—is a class of synthetic polymer materials featuring repeating amide groups in their main chains. Capable of being processed into either synthetic fibers or engineering plastics, polyamides are characterized by high strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, and are widely used in sectors such as textiles, automotive manufacturing, and machinery.
